The logo looks good, and I like the part about "manicuring" the lawn. But I'm not crazy about the "call the other guys" thing. It seems to portray an attitude.

Kinda like, "hey this is what we do, if you don't want it, get lost!".

Thanks for the input....
I certianly don't want to belittle other lcos. But I was looking for a slogan that conveyed quality. The reason I use the word manicure is my target audience is professional women who would equate a lawn manicure with the attention to detal and pampering of a regular.... and want the same thing for their household.

My reason for saying call the other guys is I wanted to set my lco apart from those who have a mow and blow mentality. Not saying there isn't a market for that type of operation, its just not how my wife and I developed our mission statement and business philosiphy. In fact, I have another lco that I refer clients to who would rather mow and blow.

Once again thanks for the input.

slogan seems a bit wordy, choppy and it doesn't flow well. if you want a catchy slogan, it should roll off your tongue

I think green letters would be a better choice than blue.

Nothing about that logo says Southwest to me. I'd change the colors a little to SW colors.and go from there. Just my .02.

- while the semicolon is grammatically correct, i think it looks awkward.

- using a texture for the font color is a very poor idea. unless you use a 4 color process for printing, it will look like garbage. yes, everyone use flat color for logos, but everyone does it for a reason. besides, it looks like a web graphic made in '97, ie very amatuerish. sorry, just my 2 cents.

- the tag line is fine if that's the desired route, but at least break it up with some visual differences, such as font and definitely color.
