21" Craftsman

I didn't know what I was missing until I bought the Toro. The toro would mulch what the craftsman could barely bag.

I started mowing in 1988 with a 1953, Huffy, 18" push mower. My grandfather bought it new, gave it to my father, and he gave it to me. Used it two years, then bought a 21" JD self propelled mower.
I had actually used the Huffy back in the early 60's to mow a few lawns in our old neighborhood. I still have the Huffy in my shop. Haven't tried to start it in 3 or 4 years.

My first lawn mower was a 21inch lawn chief I picked off of the trash at age 10. All that it needed to run was a spark plug......ahhh the good ol days

i started when i was like 12 and my uncle had a gravely promaster 100 and about 20 yards, he only did it part time, but then he got real sick and me and my grandfather took over for like two years. Then he sold it and i stopped mowing for one year, then i had my parents mtd yard machine rider, the cut on it sucked, Then the next year my papaw tore up the rearend in his scotts 42 inch cut and bought a john deere lx280 and i got the scotts and fixed it and mowed with it for two years, now im about to buy a used john deere48 inch walk behind i think.

started out around 10 yrs old w/ a 21" Craftsman. Moved to central Florida at age 13yrs. and the Craftsman was short lived w/ the fast tough growing grass down here. Went to a Snapper 21" and then went to a Snapper rider w/ 12hp. From then it was a JDEERE tractor W/ 16 Kohler & 38 deck. The first great purchase I made was a new pro 50 gravely w/ 18 kohler. Next was the Ransomes Bob-cat wb 36 and Ransomes front runner w/ 23 diesel mitsubishi and 60" deck.
