Billy goat WB

I need to buy a compact WB 36", and I was looking at various models. I know the sutech is pretty bad, but what about the billy goat 36" it seems pretty strong. I took a look at the Troy Bilt but I wasn't impressed, any body has experience with the Billy Goat?

first of all you got the wrong forum, you should have probably posted this in the commercial lawn care forum.

there was an lco here who had one, and it leaves a horrible cut (really bad clumping discharging and stringers). needless to say he got rid of it.

I have a quick 36, and I like it a lot. check with gary from better and have him talk to you about it. it's a singel hydro with a differential. very easy to turn IMO. www.betteroutdoorproducts.com . if your looking for a belt drive WB I think that exmark makes a very good one.

For commercial work I would look at Toro or Exmark. Scag now makes a 36" z-turn. For lighter work a Lesco machine would work fine, and Lesco costs less. I use a 36" Toro, it works fine.

The BillyGoat mower and the Quick 36 almost look exactly the same to me.

I suspect BillyGoat and Quick 36 get their parts to built their unit from the same companies.

Look at all the Specs and you will see the Quick 36 wins hands down. You will never beat a hydro with the gear machines.

Yes I know they are different companies. I drive by Billy Goat Industries in Lee's Summit. Mo. once a week during the mowing season. I have never used either companies products so I have no comment about the cut, quality, etc.
