I just de-thatch the lawn and then I pick up (w/b blower)the thatch. Then I seed the lawn w/ only the best seed out there(disclosed). Then I have fert guys come in. That sums it up. As far as pricing Lets say 0.15-0.20 a square foot. Then again I mite be under charging, Let me know..I do a lot of these jobs, they are one of my favorite things to do because of the excellent growth.

We dethatch alot in the spring .Between aerating and dethatching i would guess it would account for 25 to 30% of our yearly gross.
Most of our lawns we do are from 2000 to 4000 sq/ft and we charge typically $200 to $300 depending on the yard.
As for picking up some areas we rake to clean up but most of the time we will mow it all up with our husky riding mower and empty the bins into our 14 ft hydraulic dump trailer.

Why do you seed after dethatching and aerating, usually i would tell my customer to keep lawn well watered after these services to keep lawn from drying out, but i never have reseeded after them, should i be.
