Toro electric

We have a problem with a Toro CCR2400. It starts fine with the pull-start, but the electric wont' work. You push the start button, but nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Well, it could be a lot of things. Dead battery, loose connection somewhere, bad switch, or bad solenoid. I don't know what a CC2400 is so I don't know if it has any safety switches on it but if it does one of those could be causing it not to start. First think to check is the battery and check that all the connections are tight.

Battery

There is no battery with this type. You plug it into the wall to start it.

From your description, your ccr2400 is a single stage, two cycle snow blower with a 110 volt electric start. Does the starter turn when the button is pushed? If so, the plastic starter bendix is shot and must be replaced. If you cannot hear the starter motor run when the button is pushed then you either have a break in a wire or excessively worn brushes in the starter motor.
Use an ohm meter to check for continuity on the two 110v leads where the extension cord plugs in.
