I don't see a problem without having management or what ever after Landscape. There are plenty of Landscape companies out there that have no experience landscaping. He doesn't have to take a landscape job if he doesn't want to.

With my name of SGLC Property Services (and management technically) I didn't want my name to tie me down to only lawn care as we also manage a laundromat and rental properties.

New Names

[QUOTE=BTerry08]Hey guys what going on, I ran into a problem today with my company name. The name I have been using for the last 4-5 years is Total Lawn Care, I never ran into any problems with duplicate names and did research to find out if there were duplicates. Well today I got a call about my fertilizing license that I applied for and there already is a Total Lawn Care inc. in Oklahoma. So, Im going to modify my name a little bit to stay out of hazards way. Give me some feedback on which name you think is best or if you have any of your own ideas.

Total Lawn Care and Landscape

Total Lawn and Landscape

Total Lawn Care of Norman

Total Lawn Care of Oklahoma[/QUOte

Hi BTerry
I have heard of this problem coming up before and one of the ways I have seen guys change is to add a name in front of your original name. Ex:Bterry's Total Lawn Care, this still let's you be identified with all of accounts and vendors.
Good Luck
Jay
