it has the diesel and 5spd torqueshift auto. I love the truck. I wish the mileage was a little better. I get about 10.5 mpg.

I bought the f550 in july 2004 and it has been in for service for oil leaks. An injector, valve cover and something else that I can't remember. I love the engine, but since it is so new it is incredibly enxpesive for maintenance. If I do an oil change myself it is around $60. I just had it at the dealer yesterday for an oil change and 15k checkup. I cost me $291, $185 of it was for parts for oil, fuel and oil filters. However that is just the cost of doing business. The automatic is great. This is the first auto I have had in a truck. I have always been a manual guy. I still miss the stick sometimes, but I am planning on getting a class 7 truck this year so I will get a 8 or 10 speed to cure that problem.
