I just got off the phone w/ the dixie chopper dealer. I will be trying one out on Tuesday. When I asked about the x blades, he told me that they are only on one spindle and the rest have single blades. I asked why didn't all three have them and he said is was because of air flow. Anyway, has anyone ever heard of this before? I would think that the deck would vibrate all over the place with the blades being different. Your thoughts, please.

I've done that on my Dixie before and it works. I put the double on the left side. Just make sure you spacer the other 2 blades down to match.

That's one of the nice things about a Dixie. The factory has a lot of different options to taylor the deck to your individual conditions.
