Can anyone help me find some 12" starburst. I had ordered some from holiday bright lights (think that is right), well they are out of them. I was looking for 30 of them. Any help would be great.

Sweet. It happened to be the normal thing. You ask the customer 3 months ago if they wanted to do holiday lighting this yr.. They said NO we don't have the $$. Well guess what, got a call like 4 days ago can you do the lighting before the parade on the 7th?? Talking about rolling some eyes.

any luck? They don't buy direct so the lights may be a bit more than your used to paying.

Alittle???? How about right much. My cost at Holiday bright lights is $33.00 his cost is $75.00. I told the customer today she said that is nuts. I will have to wait till next year. Maybe they will start sooner. Thanks for tip.

same here, I can usually sell a 12" starburst for around 89-99 installed, no one would pay 129 or 149, which is what you would need to get if you had to pay 75 plus shipping. ridiculous. take 8 feet of 1/4" rod, weld together, powdercoat and add good 50 light set. there is seriously, maybe 10 bucks in manufacturing costs there if you make 250 of them. I am considering welding together my own in the off season just to see how long and how much it costs to make a 12, 18, or 24. I really don't like the way HBL's don't have a bottom spire anyway, and the older small brite ideas one is actually closer to 14" and has much better spacing on the lights.

I've been looking for an excuse to get a small decent mig welder. I bought about 75 of those starbusts this year. also have tons of broken light links laying around.

the last good selling day was today. from this point on the phone kinda quiets down. hope everyone did well this year. I'm still hoping for another 5 new customers, but we'll see. I got 8 new customers in the past 3 days. only two appointments scheduled this weekend.

If you make some of the 12", would you send me a picture of them? Maybe of the frame before the lights go on. I ended up getting some 10" speres at christmas lighting etc. I will let you know what I think of them.
