They are coming in 2 gallon pots. I am pre drilling the holes and would like some help.

What size of auger bit should I use? I was thinking 15 inch?
They are going in clay based ground so I need to replace the clay with manure when planting, how many yards of soil do I need for these trees?

    Thanks Mike

Don't plant directly in manure, or you will have 120 dead plants. The amount of soil needed is going to be soley dependent on how much you remove. Only you can answer that question.

Sorry, I meant manure mix. I want to have a 15 inch diameter whole if that works and it will be about 6 inches deeper than the 2 gallon pale the trees come in.
So I am total guessing 2 gallons multiplied by 120?

Woudn't peat moss be a better option than mixed manure?
