13 Year Olds Work and Equipment

    Haven't updated in a while, here are some random pics. I plan to redo the flowerbeds next spring.

    What services will my business offer?

    Mowing/Trimming/Edging/Blowing
    Landscape Installation/Maintenance
    Lawn Renovation/Installation
    Spring Clean Ups

    Aeration
    Dethatching
    Bush/Hedge Trimming
    Storm Cleanup
    Snow Removal

    How long will this last?
    I plan to remain in this business at least for the remainder of middle school and maybe through high school and then go from there.

    How will I be competitive in the market?
    I will offer competitive pricing and top quality service to a limited number of customers

    What challenges will I face?
    I will have limited hours of the day to work between sports and school.
    I plan to grow my business as I am able and feel comfortable doing so.

    What are main things that will need to be budgeted for?
    Equipment Repairs/Maintenance
    Equipment Rentals
    Fuel

    How long will it be until I begin to make a profit?
    This year, if all goes correctly

    What will be my operating expenses?
    Fuel=$100/month
    Maintenance=$30.00/month
    Expansion as able

    How will I make my business succeed?
    I will give each customer personal attention to specific needs
    Every phone call will be returned as quickly as possible
    Every issue or concern will be addressed promptly and efficently


    What is important to my business?
    Providing top quality service every time, the first time
    Providing a professional image at all times
    Keeping all equipment maintained and in top running condition

    I will store my things in the garage for the time being.

    Hey, your out of McLean, right? I'm in Vienna.

    Nice set-up, and work. I have a toro 20' and the same toro trimmer. No BR 600 though, but I am getting ready to buy a BR 550, or a Husky blower.

    What dealer do you go to?

    How's everyone's winter? I don't have any pictures, I will start to post when the snow finally melts:dizzy:

    I have a couple big jobs lined up for this year, I will probably be adding a customer or 2 and will be purchasing an Exmark Viking and I Stihl String Trimmer and Blade Edger (hopefully:laugh:)

    I will also work on branding my company and will be purchasing polo's and a jacket with my logo to improve the professionalism of my company.

    I always appreciate the advice, and feedback!

    You do better work than some people I've seen do that are twice your age, keep it up and you'll be really successful!

    Just get t shirts. Extra money for polo's is a waste. People could care less if your shirt has a damn collar.
