started mowing at age 14 had a small john deere.
for next year i am going to try to get 30 accounts around me (07933).
i no i can get about 10 accounts that range from about .5 to about 7 lot sizes. so i am stuck on what to get.
i was thinking on getting the toro 52" grandstand, because i think that would still be able to cut my small lawns but also my big lawns.
but it would be a great help for you guys to tell me what i should buy.

also insurance wise what am i looking at and what comp. is the best to go with?

now being 18 taxes are going to be coming in to play cant hide from them or anything so it would be a great help to see what to look out for.

Standard backyard gate is 36", keep that in mind.

As far as trailers, I ordered a new one for next year. Haulmark Landscaper WT3 20' deck w/ 4' box. 10k GVW. Cost me right at $6K. 24' overall length.

Saw one at a tradeshow in Boise earlier this year. Nice units. Lots of advantages to this design.

    Lots of gates are 36".

You will need a million dollar general liability policy, and you need to file for an LLC. Talk to a tax guy now so u can be prepared.

For a trailer I would get a tandom axle 14-18' trailer.

Get the Exmark walk behind 36" mower. The problem with going bigger is you can't fit through most fences. Unless you buy more than one mower.
Insurance will probably cost you around $500/year. You can get away with only having $500,000 Liability.
Trailer: I would look at your local Classifieds and see what's available. You can get away with a 7x10 utility trailer with being as small as you are.

    Good Luck

Why does he have to file for an LLC?

Not mandatory. I got to protect myself and it didn't make a difference in taxes for me. Also simpler. IMHO
