The truck is just for work but it is burning oil. Don't know if it can be fixed or should I just get rid of it? Any suggestions?:weightlifter:

How much oil is it burning? It's natural for a diesel to burn some oil no matter what. For what it's worth, a friend of mine has a 1993 F250 7.3 diesel with a banks sidewinder turbo, and he had been burning about a gallon of oil every oil change= roughly every 4-5K miles. He switched to using only WIX oil filters. Since he switched filters he's only using about 2 quarts per oil change.
