Where did you get the rear gate installed?

A local welding shop down the street installed it for me, they do all the work on our trucks. Very good reputation locally.

The gate is 10'7" from the end to end. The engine is a v8 gas.

The bar for the hinge is 1"and the tabs it goes through is made of 1/2" steel.

Just curious. How in the world do you get that gate back up? I dont see any spring or torsion system.

If you take a look at the very bottom of the gate there are 3 springs on each gate. They are wound up and very strong, but I wouldn't want to lift and drop this gate all day on say 15 resi's. We are commercial so we drop it for a few hours if not all day.
