    Had to fix a leak on the far right of fall

    Finished!!! Bid it at 56 hrs, took close to 65. Also I did run short on the boulders, had to get two yds. of 12-18" boulders to finish.

    Nice job. Is that the skimmer to the left of the falls or just some flat rocks?+

    I guess that pic didn't load. Henry, that's just some flagstone so they can get close to the fish and have a seat.

    The skimmer is at the opp. end of the falls, under the fake plastic rock.:D

    Looks great!! I plan on doing my first one in my yard this summer. What would you reccommend using to dig the hole? Did you use a Bobcat for the entire hole or a combination of machinery? Thanks for your help.

    Just a few good shovels. I just used the skidster to scrape the sod back and move the soil arround. It left too many ruts in the lawn. But, it was the home owners and he insisted we used it. Something smaller, like a dingo would be ideal for movinig the boulders and loosening the soil.

    But if you dig the first one by hand you'll appreciate it when you're finished.
