2 water sources?

    Recently we had a customer request a system with both culinary and irrigation hookups. The problem with our irrigation water is by the time its turned on, the lawns are already seriously drought stressed. This customer wanted a culinary setup so he could water earlier in the year yet still take advantage of the irrigation costs. Anyways here are some pictures. Any advice from you pros on a better way to do this would be greatly appreciated.

    This is a picture of the switch. The law stated that we needed a "physical dissconnect". The original plan was to just do this with ball valves.

    Here is a closer view of the switch. Its a pretty simple method that only takes about 2 minutes.

    This last picuture is of the actual valves. It only shows one box in this picture but there are actually 2 boxes with 8 total valves.

    How are you setting up the pressure to work closely the same from botrh sources to prevent such a difference in performance
