I was woundering if any of you guys out there used 2 way radios or walkie talkies to communicate with employees in the field.
I am an owner operator, and it seems as though atleast half the time one of my guys is somewhere doing his own thing, and 1 I want to know what he is doing, 2 I want to tell him he missed something or etc.
The excuse is allways that the machines are on etc. :hammerhead:
I dont want to waste my time chasing them down to tell them something stupid they missed.
    Much appreciated

I use the telephone headset. It blocks outside noise with the same NRR as an earplug plus you can hear your phone ring/nextel, etc. NOt sure how it would work with a two way radio or walkie talkie.

Nextel cell phones. Also some models of phones have the walkie talkie feature built-in which is great for an area without Nextel service and will still communicate for 3-5 miles.:usflag: Nextel also has an alert page that will keep alerting the phone until reset.
