Doesn't matter what you are doing, be it mulch installation, mowing, etc. etc.
    Everyone has their own price!
Last week we installed 150 yards of mulch in 2 days with a 3 man crew.
How do I make money spreading mulch? Well, I own a bark blower, so my guys move about 4 to 5 times as much material with a blower compared to hand.
Did we make a profit with wheel barrows? I'm starting to think I didn't.

I TRY to get minimum 50/ yard around here, unfortunately that doesn't always happen. I looked at a job last week, minimum 9 yards to get good coverage (1-2 inch) on 7 different beds, no easy access, all wheelbarrowed to back lawn. I got laughed out the driveway when I presented my price, seems a large local outfit has been installing the mulch, PLUS leaving an extra cubic yard for customer to make 'patch ups' for $260.00. Customer thought I would give a better price and called me. (did I mention these beds are LOADED with bulbs and perennials to work around, and low hanging tree branches over the beds?) hahaha, good luck on that one!
