2003 1/2 cub Cadet M48 Tank Hydraulic pump

    I was wondering if anyone on here as every done a change on out on one of these, how diffcult is it to do and possibly any helpful hints that I may need to know, Thanks for any and all help!!

    It's normally not a great idea to only replace one. The reason being is they share the same fluid and if one breaks there is normally contaminants in the fluid and will cause failure to the other. I would highly suggest having a shop do this so they can flush the system properly.

    thanks for letting me know that, and I would love for them change it out, but not at the 900-1100 dollars that they want me to pay to do it, so I need to drain and flush the other hydro pump as well.

    Good question, my right side seems to bog down alot. Changed the fluid and filter but still isn't right. Thought about changing that too. How hard is it to flush the system? And are you suggesting changing BOTH at the same time?
