2003 Chevy Duramax

    Looking at a 2500 Chevy Duramax. It is a 2003 extended cab anything i should look for with this truck any major problems?

    LB7 Injectors or kind of funny, as in they arent a reliable part. Could go 100,000 before needing replace, or 300,000. Other problems are the rear seal of the transfer case, and in some rare cases head gasket issues. Nothing too horrible.

    yea thats the main things i kept finding online i just heard from the guy it has 143k on it. just asked about any work done it and snow related questions stuff like that

    injector rates, injector rates, injector rates!!!! GET THE INJECTOR RATES!!!

    Ask him if the injectors were replaced under warranty recall from gm

    Yep - injectors would be the most expensive issue.

    Also make sure all the brake lines have been upgraded (cost over $1000 at most shops)

    Look for rusty frame under clean body

    ABS sensors should have been corrected as well
