Fellas what do you'll think about this 2006 F350 with a 6.0 Diesel automatic 132K on it. Guy asking $6,000 obo. Everything works from A/C on down. Good condition only dent is on driver fender because of a blow out.

    What do you guys think?

What are you planning to use it for? I assume it hasn't been bulletproofed?

Plan on using it getting a dump trailer for landscaping and using it for any heavy equipment such as a bobcat for landscaping. I have a Silverado 1500 and it won't be able to handle a dump trailer. And I get some side rails for it to carry supplies. Any thoughts about it?

Might need to dump about 3k into the motor to make it good if the owner hadn't already

I don't think about 3K maybe about $1,500. What would you dump 3K on?

Yea my brother and I would get together and do a few things to it. If I decide to get it. Do the they have problems with the head gasket on the F350? I'm a Chevy man!

If it's a true 06 they're better. The dowel size is bigger

6.0s are known for it that's why they're so cheap

Just do a quick search on google for "6.0 powerstroke" youll find the good and the bad. The most common problem being a headgasket failure. They make bulletproofing kits that make the motors very reliable and trust worthy, but requires pulling the cab im pretty sure so its no easy job. Not a bad price on the truck though, would go for probably double up here if not more if it had 4x4.
