Just got quoted $2795 for a Exmark Metro 36"

    Is this a good price?

It's only worth that if your willing to pay that price.

Go buy a used turf tracer hp and just skip the metro all together!

Buy a used one. Metros are ALWAYS for sale (at least around St. Louis). Seems like you can always find one that hasn't been used much for about half the price of new.

People either A) only have them for gated yards and they don't get used much or B) buy the Metro new, then decide shortly after they want to go hydro and once again sell the Metro for a steep discount.

Being that it is a belt drive mower, the "buy new for warranty" argument doesn't hold much ground as those mowers have very minimal issues.

It's not a bad price, but I would look at a used hydro you can usually find a good one around that price if not a little cheaper.
