Hey im selling my scag v ride I bought new in the spring. It has the 61 velocity and 29 hp kawi. 55 hours and in mint condition the reason I'm selling it is I bought a turf tiger shortly after this so a smaller v ride would work better for me. The 61 v ride is a awesome machine everything about it is bigger then the smaller v rides 12 mph bigger pumps casters ect. I'm asking 7500 but will consider offers.

Machine is located in orange ct

Have you registered the mower w Scag? Mainly asking to see if the warranty will transfer.

My local dealer registers all products with the manufacturer upon purchase so yes it will transfer. I also have full service records I do all maintaince on them and have been around scags and v rides so I'd be moreokccçc

My understanding is that Scag warranty will not transfer owners, which is why I asked if it was previously registered.

I don't see why they wouldn't transfer but I will check on that today. But if that were true you won't find a scag with a warranty because all dealers register the mowers they sell if they didn't I'm sure scag would drop them.

Says on the website that warranties are for original owner only

Yea apparently so. Still a awesome mower for a awesome price. I've never had to use the warranty on any scag I've owned myself or maintained for previous companies I've worked for.

When they are newer low hour machines I have talked the factory into re registering the new owner. If you have a good relationship with your dealer he could make it happen if he has good relationship with warranty department at factory. If not I know a lot of people act like the original purchaser when they come in or say they are dropping it off for them....it happens I'm sure....
