    Hi Guys!

I be out by this weekend or early next week shopping for 2 new 52" mowers... I use stander fix deck since 2000 and love them, but now look for adjustment deck... I look for todays reviews on these new machines (I saw some reviews from 2010, but todays machines has updates to fix problems). I thinking about buy the X's but v-ride get better deals on good engine power then X. Anyone move fix deck to adjusment deck to make pros and cons? Or anyone move from fix deck stander to v-ride scag? Thanks a lot for reviews!!!

    I don't own a stander....but I'm looking.

Looking at the two mowers you mention I've noticed that with the Wright the operator stands more between the drive wheels while with the Scag (and some others) you stand behind the wheels.
Trying them at the EXPO I found that standing behind the wheels when you turn it tries to fling the operator off of the machine.
Maybe it's just me but I figure after a day of hanging on in the turns you'd get more tired plus need to make slower turns.
I'm sure there are people perfectly happy with their Toro, Exmark etc. stand on's. But for me operator position would be a deal breaker.

i went with the wright because i like the controls and the operator position better. i'm happy with it, cuts great. i don't like the big platform on the scags, nor do i like that the OPC is in the right control lever, you have to keep downward pressure on it
