21" Stripe Kit DIY

    This is my 21" stripe kit, its a solid piece of steel, with the ends milled out, bearings installed, and then a couple brackets to allow it to float on the surface of the grass, I used it all last year and decided it needed to be cleaned off(rust removed) and painted. I like it because it doesn't stick out too far from the rear of the mower, its heavy because it's a solid piece of steel, but stripes well, the mower doesn't seem to mind pulling it around.

    Nice! Like stated above do you have any pics of the lawns you did with it? Also do you have more info of where you got everything to make it?

    Sorry no lawn pics, I need a camera to bring with me next year, the blackberry camera is brutal, lol. I had my father make it for me, he is the shop manager at a roll-forming company. Anytime I need something custom out of metal he gets someone to whip it up for me and always exceeds my expectations. They build machines that make other machines, so they are always making one off parts. I will take pictures this year for sure.
