Has anyone performed blowouts with a compressor such as this? We have used 185s and a 70cfm, obviously a 25cfm can be purchased relatively cheaply. Of course it would not be good on large commercial properties but wondering what peoples experiences have been. Thank you.

you could handle any residential job fed from a 5/8 or 3/4 meter

A "competitor" of ours uses one of those; they will work, sorta. We can come in with the 125 and be up the driveway while he's still blowing zone 1. :waving:

here is a photo for our small one. I believe it is around 20 cfm, and we mount it in the van along with the hose reel. Nice and contained. Works ok, not great. it can handle no more than two zones at a time, and they have to be small. We try to just do one turf zone and one drip zone at the same time with it. It slows my guy down a bit, but I'm ok with it. Less chance for accidents, and many of our homes have long winding driveways that can take time to back out of.

I've used a 25 for several years. It's great for the average dinky residential system (10 zone or less).

Do you take the lawn chairs and lunch when you winterize?
