I looked at a 1989 Ford F800 with a Ford motor and juice brakes. The trucked showed 12k miles on the clock and registrations showed the miles to be real. The truck was in great condition. He wanted 8k for it. I also looked at a 1993 F700 with 100k miles, Air brakes, motor type unknown and that was 7.5k and also a great truck. Can anyone tell me which one would be the better truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would not be scared of either ,as long as they are not rotten ,they both have life left in them .The lucas girling brakes were pretty popular in those trucks ,the brakelines tend to rust ,but can be made at a hydraulic shop easy enough .If I didnt need air brakes ,I would buy the low mileage unit and be done with it .
