I have an opportunity to buy a 6-7 year old Billy Goat Leaf Vac, 16HP Briggs engine. Welded in a two spots, along the elbow and just past where the tube comes in. It starts right up.

It does not include the feeding tube, which I understand is about $300.

    a) Good deal?

    b) Can this be mounted on the tongue of my 6x12 trailer ?

    THANK YOU

Well, a new one will cost you $1,900. If it were me, I'd go with a new one.
$900 for a used + $300 for the hose, savings of $700 for 6-7 years of use, not worth it to me.
Not a good deal, but not a bad one either, depends on how much use you want to get from it.
Why are they selling? If it was in perfect running condition, they wouldn't sell it.

If you're on the Cape, check the Want Ads. There were a half-dozen 16 HP and larger in the Lawn & Garden section this week. If that Billy Goat doesn't blow up, it's a good deal, not a great one. But think about having to fix it or replace it in the middle of leaf season. Might be better as a backup.

There is nothing there that remotely resembles a leaf loader. So where is it for 1900.00?

I wasn't sure if it was on their website, hence their phone #!
