I don't know where to start with these. I have 3 Lawn-Boy's for sale. Only one runs, and it needs a float/needle/seat. They all ran well, and then one Spring, just wouldn't start. I attribute ALL of these problems to be ethanol related. And ALL of them likely need a carb kit or even just a hit of Seafoam. They are ALL push mowers. NOT self-propelled! They are VERY light, so great for steep hills and banks! I don't know what to price these at. If you want to make an offer, go ahead. I'm not sure it's worth my time to try to fix any of them or put money into them. Please make offers or suggestions as far as price goes. Not really into shipping, but if someone makes a decent offer, I could strap one or all to a pallet with buyer paying shipping. 1] Model 7035 This is a 1986 steel deck, plastic wheel, homeowner model. Ran fine last year, and this Spring it wouldn't start. To tell you the truth, it may just be out of gas. Didn't even get that far! I loaned it to my Aunt a few years ago, and She is selling her house. I went and got it a few weeks ago. 2] Model 6431 This is a 1986 Commercial Aluminum deck, Steel greasable (ball-bearing) wheels, BIG fuel tank! This is missing the bail cable and I wired up a simple switch to turn on/off. Has no spark. Either my redneck wiring is messed up, or it needs a coil. Parts are still available for this. Wheels have seen better days! This was my first Lawn-Boy that I bought NEW in 1986!!! Used it until 1998 when I bought the next one. Dad continued to use it until last year when he said it wouldn't start. 3] Model 22260 This is a 1998 Commercial Aluminum deck, Steel greasable (ball-bearing) wheels, BIG fuel tank! This unit is complete, and still runs. I used it all last year. It would leak fuel out of the carb. I simply turned off the gas valve after I was done using it. I'm assuming it needs a float kit or needle and seat. The wheels on this are also pretty shot! This model has the exhaust shooting out the front instead of under the mower. These units are VERY light (like 75lbs) and are great to lift out of a truck or trailer. I also have a side bagger attachment that will fit ANY 3 of these mowers. I cant guarantee the condition of the bag, but I saw it hanging in my Dads shed last week. Parts are still very much available, wheels are fairly cheap as well. I just don't want to put anymore parts/money into them that I may not re-coupe. I figure that there are a few LAWNBOY guys here that may show interest. If I don't get any bites, I will likely fix them up and sell locally. Thanks for looking!
