Hey guys we've been upgrading trucks over the last 3 years and have a pretty newish fleet and because of that I've got 3 trucks that get little to no use. I just don't think I need 3 spares, but I figured with the economy being slow I wouldn't get anything for them and they are worth something you know? Anyways I've figured time to sell would be here before spring right? Which would you keep? Personally I think I'd keep the f450 but it might be the more marketable truck out of the group since it's smaller. The fl60 is a great truck but with our f750 we hardly use it... also it needs a clucth but I'm going to take care of that before selling. The little f450 is a great truck, but dirty only 167k. The one I'm pretty sure I want to ditch is the 97 crewcab 4x4 it has 197k but we've been using it as a service vehicle for several years and its just too big for that, need something more like a ranger/f150.
Can yall help me decide what they're worth? I'm thinking of ebaying them but I want to know what to set the reserves at. I really value some of yalls opinions because yall wheel/deal more than I do. I don't like haggling or such so I feel like I might get taken sometimes.
The last one is a dump truck though when the fools built the body for it they made it where you have to take the trailer hitch out of the receiver before you dump.... guess where that big dent in the back came from.
Im no expert but id say the f350 is worth at least 6-7K, I assume its a diesel.
what year is the F450?
With the F350 you may try putting an add on craigslist and be willing to trade for a newer F150, No doubt you will get people lowballing you and trying to trade their old and busted 1/2 ton for it, but you may find somebody that is looking to get into a diesel (assuming it is a diesel) truck and out of a gasser that will be willing to deal.
I take it that 350 was converted to a dually! thats pretty cool. id say its worth at least 6k, 450 probably a hair more but not much. Dont know about the FL..Very nice trucks. get em cleaned up! that will help out!

Did ford not make a factory dually in certain years or are all of the duallies out before 99 dealer conversions? That seems really odd if thats the case.

Wow, no not quite. they all have made duallys since the 70's! its just Ford didnt start with dually 4x4's until 99. u had to special order them, or get them as Cab and Chassis fleet vehicle.

Dang, I didn't notice that till you pointed it out, but that makes sense. All the duallys being dealer conversions made no sense to me, there are to way ford duallys out there for them to all be dealer conversions. I always wondered why it was so rare to find an old dually 4x4, I guess I know now.
Yep! I searched and searched back in 2000 for a 95-97 Crew cab dually 4x4, and could never find one! I worked at a Ford dealer, and decided to ask some people, and they all looked at me weird, and said have you ever seen one? i was like hmmm..i guess not. 5 different guys said thats cuz Ford didnt start making them til 99. crazy stuff...so my search stopped...ha! ended up finding a 97 250 4X4, that turned into my Baby!! I still miss that truck.
kinda of odd we did order that truck, back in the day it was next to impossible to buy a crewcab 4x4 around here. wonder why the factory didn't dually mine from the getgo
Ford caught up with the game on a lot of stuff in 99. Crew cab 4x4 dually, readily available 4x4 f450, crew cab short bed 2/350 good stuff haha. I wouldn't mind finding a crew cab longbed dually 4x4 in that body style, but just dont have the use for it now. Back in 04 when I was looking for my first powerstroke there was one in Oklahoma I almost bought, but just didnt really need that big of a truck.....and it was sold before I could go look at it. Good luck with the truck sales I really wish we had a use for a truck like that FL.
