36" Belt Drive Mower-Blown Engine

    We called the guy and he said the mower has been used only for his 1 acre home/yard and it has been working fine until a few weeks ago when the engine blew up or something (somehow it got a hole in it)

    He doesn't know what type of bagger, just a "regular aluminum catcher"

    Do you guys think it's worth it if I check everything over very well?

    Let me ask this.....

    In your opinion, which would be better for back yards a 36" belt or a 21" Toro or Honda?

    36"!! i HATE back yards with a 21!! i dont even own one i just use my dads whenever i need it (rarely)
