Ive got a Toro 36" walk-behind. I had a new engine put on it. Every since I cant keep the drive belt that runs the tranny on. Its the proper size belt, Ive tightened it, and all pullys seem to be ok. The pully that goes to the tranny is a little loose with some play. What are yalls thoughts on how to fix this?

A search pulled this thread up. Might give you a hand.

    Taken from the above link:

Go to the dealer, he tells me new belt is about $60 and proceeds to try and figure out why the belt is coming off. He finds that one of the pullies was extremely lose and was flexing alot more than it was designed to. He tightened it up and told me that was the reason the belt had slipped off and he seemed ticked off exmark wouldn't tighten this properly from the factory.

I was leaning towards the loose pully from the tranny. Thanks
