I have the 2 bag catcher with no blower and I recently replace the transition chute that between the deck and the long chute. It is picking up better but it still get clogged up often. I have a couple questions...

Is there something else I need to look at to see why it isnt picking up? Or is this just designed to push a little bit of grass through it? My grass is pretty thick and I think it might just be the volume that is clogging it up...

If I decided to replace the chute with a blower assembly, could I use the 2 bag catcher i currently have and just buy the blower and chute that would work with the catcher?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Are you using the high lift catching blade on the discharge side of the deck?
If the chute is clean and your using the catching blade in dry grass it should be packing the catcher fine.
Also check your deck belt tension and engine RPM's.
How much you take off in a single pass and how heavy the grass is will make a difference.
We do not offer a blower powered catcher for the Mini Fastrak 36".

PJ, I do have that high lift blade on there on the discharge side. I am really thinking it has to do with the volume I am trying to bag on each pass... It has been growing pretty fast and because of certain areas in my yard i am trying to let grow more I have been mowing once every 2 weeks. I am going to start mowing once a week and see if that helps...

How much tension should I have on the deck belt? That is one thing I really need to check. Also, how often would i need to get the blades sharpened?

    Thanks!

The tension on the deck belt, it should be tight enough where you can see about a quarter in gap in the coils of the tension spring.
This is outlined in your manual.
As to blade sharpening, its going to depend on your conditions and if you ever happen to hit anything.
