I understand where you are coming from. When I need advice or just someone to talk "business" with, I call a LCO who has been in business 25 years... He'll answer any questions I have, but it's nice to have a guy who's "been there" to just bullsh/t with. If you haven't noticed from this site, there are lot's of us out there willing to help when you need it. Reach out to someone at a trade show or someone you bump into when picking up materials.

If you need someone to share the work load with, keep looking for employees. Essentially, you are looking for your replacement. When you have a trained leader, he will take over your labor responsibilities while you spend more time selling, supplying, and advertising. I get that it is not easy, and that it takes time, but you need to envision your business one day without you working in the field and start organizing it so that can happen. You do not need a partner to make that happen. Just you.

There are plenty of guys on here that will talk to you, just ask. Based on info provided by you, you are working 6 days a week and only making 20k. That is probably the largest factor in needing motivation. 30 week season 6 days a week 180 days $115 per day net is not good. You need to look at where you are weak and improve upon it. Either productivity, low pricing or high expenses.

I'm still not seeing where you are even at the point of needing a helper. If you only made 20k last year you can barley afford yourself. You're working for less than minimum wage. Your self admitted lack of motivation says maybe you aren't ready for this yet. Throwing a partner with money into it is like trying to put a fire out with gasoline. You need to do some soul searching and decide if you really want to do this. No shame, its not for everybody and it just might be the wrong time in your life.
