4 cycle makita weedwhips

    wondering if anyone has any experience with the 4 stroke makita weedwhips?

    A weedwhip is a grass trimmer. Some parts of the country use this term.

    I at first thought that the Makita trimmer might be a Honda or at least have a Honda engine. It does not appear to have anything Honda on it. It certainly is light enough at 11.8 pounds vs. Honda's almost 14 pound trimmer. The engine sizes are different also. I say buy one and come back and tell us what it's like.

    i already bought two of them for a really good deal., but havent set them up or tried them yet. just lookin
    for any opinions based on experience.

    The MAKITA trimmers are made by ROBIN 2 & 4 Stroke!

    Don`t expect to have them last for more than a season.They are junk from my experience.
