How much oil is it supposed to take and can you over fill the motor with to much oil or will it just leak out?

    Thanks!!

it will get into your exaust system and then when you go to start it the engine will spit out oil then IF you get it going it will smoke alot.

Man what questions! Why not just measure it when filling it, then write it down?

Can you overfill the engine?... will it leak out?

My Honda motor on the Honda commercial takes 3/4 qt, or a little more. A Honda mechanic taught me a time saving trick for changing the oil, you tip it on it's side and drain it out the fill tube. I use my trailer gate, put a engine stand under the gate so it is level, drain through the mesh into a drain pan. Takes about five minutes. I now have 10 and 12 years on my machines so I believe him that this method gets more oil out of the pan.

The Honda service manual calls for .69 US quarts.
