Had a fun day today. Some new kind of work for me. Though it was all pretty damn simple stuff. We took on a larger job then usual and replaced a shot 4" back flow assembly . Everything went smooth. Getting the old nuts off was a biatch but that was expected. Just sazalled about half of hem.

Very nice. But why was it installed backwards?

    Just kidding. What brand/model?

I was about to say "how you get it back in there?" until I saw the Vitaulic fittings. :clapping:

(sure hope the codes don't require open stem and yoke isolation valves)

The old device was a Watts 709

The new one we installed is a Wilkins 350 which we had wilkins spec the length for us so we could just plop her right in

Nice work. I bet there were some tense moments when you were turning the water back on.
