40 and looking to start a landscaping co.

    Totally agree. Unless you get really well versed in the what, how and why of what damages your back and how to avoid disc repair surgery get out now and avoid any kind of work that grinds away at your back joints.

    I'm vastly better off than I was this time last year but the vast majority of back injury victims have little to no clue how to REALLY avoid destroying their backs permanently. I have compared notes with others and virtually all of them are clueless on correct bio mechanics.

    Apparently he didn't make it! but I started in 08 after being laid off, if you think starting in 2010 was bad you should have tried 08, but I'm still here and going into my fifth year, 10 was really my first full time year, 11 was a little better and last season was even better, as hard as it is I remain optimistic about this industry, I enjoy it with all the challenges it brings, I'm really looking for a breakout year this year, I've put a lot of systems in place to try and make things more efficent, I guess time will tell.The only thing that concerns me is the economy taking another hit, I think it will be much worse than last time as bad as that was.
