I need to give a price for a commercial building with 40000 sqft of beds to remulch and edged. Almost no weeds all with numours shrubs. I figured it will require 246 yards, any Ideas on a price for this massive amount of mulch????????

Edge it and clean it up yourself then sub it out to someone with a mulch blower. Find out how much it is /yard and give the guy a per yard pricepayup .

I would sub it out to someone with a mulch blower. Take their price, add $5/yard, and make $1000+ with little or no work.

246 yards of mulch. Pending mulch price I would see where I could buy bulk mulch. Here you can get 100 yards at a time delivered for 950. figure 2.5 of those and renting a blower you are right at 2400 in cost and 2 days worth of work for 2-3 guys. so call it right at 3g's for cost. now 246 yards at 50 per yard is 12300 and at 40 is 9840 and at 30 per yard 7380.
Now at the rock bottom price of 30 a yard which there is no blow company that will do it for less than you profit at almost 7 grand in 2 days. I see it is easier to sub it but sometimes when you are talking major yards you can make so much more by buying in bulk and then renting what you need.
sometimes we overlook what our optimum profit margin can be because it is so easy to just sub it out.
The only thing is being awarded the job.

we have a guy in this area that we sub out mulch for big jobs and hard to get too. he only charges us $30 a yrd. to blow mulch which is well worth it. we get $60 a yrd.
