I'm looking to buy a new 48" Commercial Toro zero turn. I dont have the model # right now. The only Toro products i have used is the 21" commercial walk behind. So should i buy the Toro Zero turn? Anybody happy or unhappy with these? I would rather buy an Exmark, but my budget doesnt allow it at the time. Cost of the Toro is a little over 7k. Thanks for your help!

That Toro sounds like a nice mower, An Exmark is probably around the same price and a very similar machine. All high end z mowers are very similar. Main thing is buy a mower that someone can get parts for quickly.
I had a Toro Z Master 153 lasted 7 years and over 2,300 hours with no down time. Liked it so much I got a G3 Toro this year hoping it is just as reliable. Main thing I think when buying a mower is to have local dealer support for any machine you buy.
If you are on a budget get a hydro walk behind, new you could probably get on with a Velke for under or around $5,000. These machines are very versitable and cost effective and if you get in any trouble with it you can try and man handle it into a safe spot or just let it go. A Z mower you are just along for the ride.

Toro/Exmark both top of the line mowers. You would be happy with either. Also consider parts and service. The main goal is the least amount of down time as possible. Good luck and congrats on your new mower purchase in advance!
