I have been looking at 48 inch Z turns and 48 inch Walkbehinds. How are the Encore mowers? They seem to be a good price point. The others that I have seen are the Scag and the Toros.

    any help?

You will probably get more responses if you post this in the Commercial Lawn Care form. However, I will say the Toro stuff gives a really, really nice cut, and the Scag mowers are built like a tank. I would stick with one of those 2 if I was you.

I just bought a used 32" encore and it has worked really well for me. It cuts smooth has good suction for me.
