I'd like to know what differences there are on a 5 year old metro HP and a new one...I am looking at a used mower but before I make the trip I thought someone on the forum might know some of the differences.

    Thanks!

    Shm,

The current models are only available with ECS. The older Metro HP's may have pistol grips. The current spindle design has been updated a few times in the past few years. We also currently use the semi-pneumatic front caster tires which eliminates flats and tires rolling off the bead.

There have been a few minor updates such as choke cables for better starting and better running characteristics.

The big difference is the ECS controls. They did wonders for the Metro and the hydros but on the Metro HP they really make a difference.

    Thanks

    Terry
