    Dear LawnSite Members:

I want to thank everyone who participated in the last give away we set up. We sent a nice pair of leather work gloves, a set of professional hand-pruners, and $50 to Steve (ElephantNest).

This give away will be the following:

    1. A LawnSite.com T-shirt
    2. A PlowSite.com T-shirt
    3. Brand New Pair of Work Boots

As with all the other give aways, you need to participate in order to be eligible to win. So here is what I have decided....

At the top of the site on the home page you may have noticed our slogan...."The Original and Largest Online Community In The Green Industry". I have decided that it is a nice way to welcome new users, but I am looking to create a slogan we can use permanently.

So here is the contest... Post what you think the new slogan should be and why. Only post once....and I know this could be funny, but let's try and keep it clean.

Well Sean, basing this slogan on the long term forum, and the largest community, my contest entry for the new slogan is......

"LAWNSITE.COM, The largest online forum with the deepest roots in the green industry!"

We have a winner, you can feel free to stop the contest early

I think the inuendos comeout with the roots being the key green industry link, and the largest online forum speaks for itself.

I have gained much knowledge on this site, and as always thank you for your help in making it happen.

LAWNSITE.COM -- The place to learn how to make some green in the green industry.

This defines what I think this whole site is all about, we learn from other members how to make our own business better, and in a whole so we can make more money!

I know this won't win me a prize, but I gotta say that I like the one we already have. It says it all.

Depends upon what your definition of a slogan is.

Although I think the current slogan is great, because I love the original part... for a slogan, it is too wordy.

    Slogans are short and sweet.
Slogans are something that are easy to remember, easy to say.

    These are top marketing slogans.

    1. Diamonds are forever (DeBeers)
    2. Just do it (Nike)
    3. The pause that refreshes (Coca-Cola)
    4. Tastes great, less filling (Miller Lite)
    5. We try harder (Avis)
    6. Good to the last drop (Maxwell House)
    7. Breakfast of champions (Wheaties)
    8. Does she ... or doesn't she? (Clairol)
    9. When it rains it pours (Morton Salt)
    10. Where's the beef? (Wendy's)

So now that I come across as some know it all, you are probably wondering where my masterpiece slogan is. ;)
Well Sean, this seems to be slogan week here at my house.

But I offer you this attempt:
