Just wanted to ask you guys how I would make out with an Exmark 52" Belt drive with a B & S Vanguard 18HP on a 2 acre or so lawn. Its a used mower I'm looking at. Hard to use with belt? Better than a 20Hp Hydro craftsman rider (NOT ZTR)that I'm using?

I'm going to leave this one at the property.. not for commercial use unless urgent need.

    Have a good weekend..

There is nothing wrong with that machine on a 2 acre property. I mowed my parents 2 acre lawn with a 32" metro to see how long it would take me. I would recomment a velke for that amount of acerage.

It shouldn't be a problem at all. I don't know that it will be faster than the Crapsman though. I used to have a Gravely Pro-150 50" belt drive with a Kawi 17. My buddy had Scotts 18-48 riders and there wasn't much difference between the two on the same property. Maybe a slight edge to the Gravely on turning but the mowing aspect was the same.
