6.0 and snow question

    What kind of fuel mileage do the 6.0 gas engines get verses the D-Max city and highway etc.Debating between the two to pull my 7x16 and my soon to be 8x18 enclosed.

    Wow my old 94 with the old school TBI motor with a wimpy 200HP plows easy. It's all about using the weight from the truck to move the snow. You just can't sit there then plow. You need a few feet of starting time.

    I would recommend changing the rear end fluid and add a transmission cooler.

    I leave my truck in first gear all the time. My truck tranny 2nd gear was built to start and stay at 2nd gear maybe I should try that since your using the torque band better.

    About 10 MPG towing, thats city and highway.

    i have a 2001 gmc 2500hd with a 7.5' meyers plow and it out plows both of my f350 powerstrokes. torque of the 6.0 is awesome
