6.75 Tecumseh Engine (removing flywheel)

    I have looked everywhere for a flywheel puller and not one store carries them. Anyway I can get the flywheel off of the 6.75 Tecumseh engine without a flywheel puller? Thanks!

    make sure the brake is off, put a long screwdrive under the flywheel and apply pressure, then smack the side of the flywheel with a hammer. You may have to hit it in a few different places. Pops right off.

    yea... and you might want to spray a penetrating oil where the camshaft comes out of the top of the flywheel a couple minutes before you try taking it off.... it does make it easier.
