    Hello everyone,

I have a 2002 Exmark lazer z 25hp mower and I have an electrical problem on hand. The mower starts fine but once I disengage the emergency brake the mower stalls out. I looked for all loose connectors and wires and everything is intact. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. Thanks

    Welcome to Lawnsite:drinkup:
I would suspect you have a bad seat(safety) switch. When you release the brake the safety circuit thinks you are not in the seat and the mower dies. I hope this helps:)

does this unit have a tilt switch on it. this switch will also cause the same problem if it is bad, just like the seat switch will as Mower Medic stated. just went through this last week with one. bypass the seat switch if it continues check to see if it has this tilt switch.
