How many guys out there just run walkbehinds no riders. I looking to get a 60" mower and wondering if walkbehind would be better for larger residential properties, than ZTR. The ztrs add alot more weight and and more money. I currently run 52" ferris walkbehind mowers

Why walk when you can ride? Seriously, faster ground speed, less wear and tear on your body.

A 60" hydro walkbehind will cost about a grand less (not much really) than a 60" ZTR rider.

The WB will have less HP and will be slower. There are no 15mph WB's!~!

They will weigh a bit less, but with the WB's skinnier tires, your ground pressure is likely MORE than that of a ZTR rider.

Its not your problem the customer doesn't want a big rider on their property. It's theirs. Move on to the next customer.

Picture this! If you have a yard that pays $25 and you mow it in 5min with a Z mower it is $25. If you mow it with a walk and it takes 15min it is still $25 which would you rather have?
