62" Toro wont start

    ah. I see. I'll probably take it to a shop for removal and use a small adjustable wrench and get it as tight as I could

    Adjustable wrenches aren't good for anything but rounding off corners on fasteners.

    I spent some time filtering the oil from the pump no large chunks. but a few shards. seems to have done well I think

    sigh......





    got the knew wheel motor installed today. turns great. will probably get better when the air gets out of the oil.... but there is oil pouring out of the back of the pump.


    again i say....sigh.

    coudl it just be the seal in the back where the shaft goes into?

    just finished about an hour ago. needed a new pump swell. I was going to ask. even tho there is very new oil that has been well flushed and looks very clean. should I drain and replace?

    Since it was only a seal just run it through a sieve. You might actually have the weekend to yourself.:drinkup::usflag:
