In working up my large apartment complex bids I am looking to get some info on how much more efficient I can do the large properties (6.5 acres and 5.2 acres of turf area).

What 72" mowers would you guys recommend? I have heard to definitely go with Diesel because of the longer life and expense.

How much production can I put out with a 72"? My research and a friend told me to expect 50% - 80% efficiency which with the 52" was somewhere in the range of 56,000-90,000 depending on situations. Is the 72" going to be a range of 78,000 - 124,000? I think I did my math right I just want to see what you guys think?

I would go with a Dixie Chopper. Nothing with a Generac motor though. My buddy has 2 72" Dixies and these things fly! You wanna talk about getting your work done fast. Be prepared to spend between 10-12K for one though.

Go with a BAD BOY with a flex deck added on for about the same money and you get the new ride and will save so much time.

Yes, check out the Bad Boy 72" AOS with the Cat diesel. I think you can go 28hp or 33hp. 15mph speed with full suspenion on chassis and a suspension seat plus the other Bad Boy features ling swing away fenders, etc. Very impressive machine!

I have a JD 777 with a 72 I love it. It had gone through many types of mowing and does very well. I just tested a 997 more money than the 777 but that has the diesel. I Run All Jd equipment. I previously had exmarks

You might want to look at Lesco. You can get a 72" 33hp Generac for $7899.99.
